Very cool! We, too, did Easter weekend pavement art - our first time for the youngsters as we are a little 'deprived' of available pavement...but I definitely think it will become an Easter tradition! I agree with the other comments, great vibrant chalk colours!!
i finished my easter post the same way you started yours... :) my husband says that all the time. "that's how we roll..." ;) love the pics, shauna. you captured such a happy, joyful easter. also, my SIL had a bridal shower over the weekend and she got the most beautiful red and turquoise apron. totally thought of you! ;)
i've fallen in love with your blog...just happened upon it. and glad to find out there is another family that can cover their driveway and accompanying sidewalks with chalk and get away with it. everyone in my neighborhood loves the loopy drawings and funny sentences scrawled everywhere - well, except for elmer, the sweet little portuguese man two houses down who is a neat freak and is constantly trying to convince the kids that they should hose it off, "look, i've got a hose right here. look, kids, look. a hose. wouldn't it be nice if you would hose all of this off?" good thing he loves them. okay, randomness from a stranger who loves what you guys are all about.
